Santiago Melgar Amaya, 58, of Monon, died Monday, February 4, 2008 when the vehicle he was riding in crashed into the Rogers Group Quarry near Kentland.
He was born September 15, 1949 in El Salvador.
He worked at S&S Plastics in Kentland and was on his way to work when the accident happened.
He was a member of the Iglesia Evangelica Apostoles church in Monon.
He enjoyed attending church and watching movies.
His immediate family is all currently in El Salvador.
Visitation of the body will be from 3:30 p.m. Saturday (tomorrow) February 9, 2008 until Monday, February 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Iglesia Evangelica Apsotoles Church in Monon. Afterwards his body is to be returned to El Salvador for burial.
