Life Legacy


Juanita White, 76, of Monon, died at 9:55 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in Rosewalk Village, Lafayette. She had been ill for the past month.

Born on September 22, 1933 in Americus, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Alta (Sutton) Redinbo. She grew up in Lafayette, attending Lafayette Jefferson High School and moved to Monon in the mid 1960's.

Her marriage was to Robert E. White on April 22, 1952 in Knox, Indiana. He preceded her in death September 1, 1990.

Mrs. White worked at Monon 5 & 10 for 25 years and then worked for 15 years at True Value in Monon until it closed.

A dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother her family was her joy.

Surviving are her children, Linda Wireman of Monon, Kathy Payne Moore (husband: William) of Noblesville, Jenny Allen of Buffalo, and Robert E. White Jr. (wife: Kim) of Rensselaer.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Laurie, Marie, Mickey, Cheryl, Brad, Robyn, Jeff, Kayleigh, Lauren and Kody and 5 great-granddaughters.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Clapper Family Funeral Home of Monon. Services there at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 20, 1010; Pastor Steve Birch to officiate. Interment to follow in Monon Chapel Cemetery, Monon.

Preceding her in death is an infant son, five brothers, three sisters, a granddaughter, Lynn White, and a great-granddaughter, Brieanna Wingerter.
