Life Legacy
Bill L. Hadden, Sr. age 67 of Kentland died Saturday, January 30, 2010 at St. Anthony Health Care in Lafayette. He was born October 22, 1942 in Moweaqua, IL to the late Edgar O. and Grace Bandy Hadden. He was a 1960 graduate of Blue Mound High School in Blue Mound, IL. Mr. Hadden married Carolyn S.Ross on March 18, 1960 and she survives. He came to Kentland from Blue Mound in 1972.
Mr. Hadden was an antique dealer and he owned and operated Dad’s Trash N Treasures in Kentland for several years.
Survivors: His mother, Grace Hadden of Stonington, IL, a son, Gregory A. Hadden (wife: Susan) of Ft. Wayne, IN, a daughter, Tina Siegle-Marshall (husband: Murray) of West Lafayette, IN, a brother, Rick Hadden (wife: Diane) of Decatur, IL, a sister, Jody A. Hadden of Fishers, IN, Nine grandchildren, Dane, Jordan, Derek, Taylor, Devan, Dustin, Schuyler, Travis, and Addyson.
Preceded in death by a son Billy L. Hadden, Jr. in 1987 and a brother, Jerald A. Hadden, Sr.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Bill to St. Judes Hospital.
Funeral service Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) at the Stitz-Clapper Funeral Home in Kentland. Inurnment to follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Kentland.
