Life Legacy
Betty Jean Jenkins died January 30, 2010. She was born in Chrisman, IL on October 1, 1925 to William and Hazel Revis. Betty attended Scotland High School in Illinois and graduated with a nursing degree from Methodist Hospital Nursing School in Indianapolis, IN. She married Clifford Jenkins on November 9, 1946. They moved to Kentland, IN in 1953 and lovingly raised their children there.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford on August 11, 1992.
Betty is survived by her four children, Bill and his wife, Mary Ann Jenkins of Naples, FL; Rob Jenkins of Katy, TX; Nancy Cox of Cypress, TX; Kathy and her husband Kenny Eller of Cary, NC. She has eleven grandchildren, Jeff and his wife, Chris Jenkins of Los Angeles, CA; Jason and his wife Sara Jenkins of Tomball, TX; Josh and his wife, Emily Jenkins of New Castle, IN; Jamie Jenkins of Cypress, TX; Jacqueline Jenkins of Peoria, IL; Kristina Eller of Raleigh, NC; Kimberly Eller, Kae Ashleigh Eller and Kurt Eller all of Cary, NC; Jill and Thomas Aylor of Buda, TX; Justin and Amber Cox of Spring , TX. She has five great grandchildren, Brynn, Dain, Bryce, Jacob and Kaydence.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Kentland on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with family visitation at 10:00 a.m. (CST).
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the National Arthritis Foundation for research, 1330 W. Peachtree St. NW, Ste. 100, Atlanta, GA 30309.
