More and more people are chosing cremation for their own funeral arrangements. Whether it's due to simplicity, environmental concerns or financial reasons; cremation is on the rise all across the United States.
We'd like you to know that we provide many options for cremation including:
1. Direct Cremation: very simple for those wanting no services of any type. We will pick up the deceased from place of death and file all the necessary paperwork, including help publish all obituaries and acquire death certificates. You should know that we do lots of these every year out of Lafayette, West Lafayette and surrounding counties because our price is very, very good.
2. Cremation as an alternative to earth burial: probably the most common. Many people don't want to deny their family the closure by having no service and they would like to have a regular funeral with cremation afterwards. This tends to save 3 to 4 thousand from a regular funeral with a burial. You get the same exact look but possibly avoid many expenses like vaults, grave plots, grave digging and headstones.
3. Direct Cremation with a memorial service: you may opt to have a memorial service at our funeral home or another facility like a church after direct cremation. Many people choose to remember a person the way they were and then celebrate a life well lived. We can offer this service with life celebration videos and other avenues of rememberance.
